Treating the masseter muscles with Botox to narrow the jawline
Using Botox in the masseter muscles is a popular treatment for thinning the jawline and giving the appearance of a thinner face. Treatment of the masseter muscles with Botox can also help alleviate TMJ, clenching and grinding the teeth and minimize tension headaches. A typical dosage for Botox for the masseters is 50-60 units and results can commonly be seen after three treatments spaced three months apart.

hey it’s Dominique well from well
medical arts wanted to teach you all
about doing the masseter muscles with
Botox today so master muscles are
responsible for chewing and the jaw when
they are enlarged or hypertrophy they
can cause clenching grinding teeth
problems TMJ migraines so by going in
and relaxing the masseter muscles it’s
going to prevent any of those problems
treat any of those problems and by doing
the masseter muscle the jaw will also
appear less bulky and more narrow this
is now her third treatment we’ve done
two we’ve already got very nice
before-and-after photos with two we’re
working on treatment number three here
so I’ve already cleaned there now I’m
gonna go ahead and ice now dosage for
masseter muscle it’s a large muscle so
it’s a strong muscle tell me when you’re
good and cold it’s good yeah all right
and bike down for me and relax
you can feel one two but the three
corners of the masseter muscle bite down
it’s a triangle-shaped muscle and bike
down and relax
there we go so we get kind of all three
angles of that triangle very easy to do
doesn’t hurt at all all right let’s get
the other side that was thirty units we
do thirty units on each side I don’t do
any less than fifty because the muscles
that big and really needs that much all
right let’s get the other side
tell me when it’s good and cold okay
thank you and bite down good job relax
and bite down
good relax and I can feel that this
sides a little stronger on her bite down
and relax one two which is very common
most of us are have a predisposition to
chew on one side perfect easy right yeah
